That would be an error on the TPG certificate.

It is not a narrow panel note, nor is it an error note. It is a wide panel DC-21c note.

I have brought the discrepancy to the attention of BCS.

My appologies, this was an error on my part

whenever grading Gordon-Towers 1937 $1 notes I always indicate whether it is a narrow or wide panel.  In my haste typed the wrong thing.  The charlton catelogue code, however, is correct.  THis was just a mix up in words.
