The server that the forum resides on had a brief outage late Wednesday and most of Thursday. There was some very minor data loss, but it was insignificant. No word yet if things are back up for good, or if my hosting provider is just toying with us. They are reporting a motherboard failure on the server.
Please also beware that there is a possibility that this website may still be suffering from a malware infection. This problem will affect any users of Internet Explorer. They may be presented with pop-ups to download an ActiveX control, or may receive warnings from their antivirus software. I strongly urge members of this site to use Firefox. Firefox is unaffected by this issue except that you may occasionally receive a blank page. You cannot get infected with this particular variety of malware when using Firefox.
