I really need to update my Charlton, I only have the 19th edition. I hope someone wouldn't mind posting the current UNC BV of the 1972 "RS" and 1979 "33" test $5 notes. Thanks.

20th Edition Prices;
1972 $5 BC-48bT Prefix RS: Unc. $6250, CUnc. $6500, GUnc. $7000
1979 $5 BC-53aT: Unc. $5000, CUnc. $5200, GUnc. $5500

OK, Here are the
21st edition
prices
BC-48bT: 1972 R/S Test Note = Unc: $5,600 C.Unc: $5,900 G.Unc: $6,500
BC-53aT: 1979 "33" Test Note = Unc: $5,000 C.Unc: $5,200 G.Unc: $5,500

I would go with the 20th Edition.The 1972 R/S test note is worth more in the 20th than the 21st Edition according to the posts

I would stick with the prices in the most current Charlton as this would be a more accurate indication of the current market.
Prices fluctuate due to market circumstances such as demand, supply, sales, economic times, etc.
