I have been going through some papers of my deceased Mother and found an envelop with some older Canadian currency with a note on the envelop not to spend it.

In a handwritten note to me my Mother said that one note might be of value.  It is a 1954 one dollar Canadian note signed by Beattie and Rasminsky, *A/Y0081822. I've read the grading paper posted elsewhere on the site and I'd judge it to be in fine condition.

Any thoughts on its potential worth?

Your note in fine is valued at $10 and $15 in Very fine.

You may want to list your other serial numbers as there are some worth quite a lot.

You could have a look on ebay too.

The note books at $10 in fine condition, but with a soft marked, the selling price would fall within the $6-10 range.

Hope this helps
