I found this circulated $20 this morning with the last digit on the right-hand side serial number halfway down.

I couldn't find this particular error in Charlton's.

Can anyone tell me the value of this?

Nice little error!  If this was an older series of note, chances are you would see only part of the digit plus part of another digit, hence making it a partial digit error  (E16 in the catalogue).  On Journey series notes, digits can be way out of alignment but still all visible, so I don't think it can be called a partial digit error.  However, the catalogue value of partial digit errors is relatively low, and your note deserves something of a premium even in the condition it is in.  I'd give it a tentative value of $30-$40.
