Maybe you can help me. I remember reading in the Canadian Coin News two issues ago, one of the regular column writers commenting that they wished they could have a look at the Swiss 1000 franc note.

I happen to have one, in fact, one of each demonination in UNC (http://www.snb.ch/e/banknoten/noten.html) from when I was working over there. I had intended to write to the author and make it available.

Now, I've forgotten who was asking, and disposed of the CCN issue.

Anyone remember? Anyone want to buy the set?

How much do you want for the set?

I can't think of prettier banknotes than those of Switzerland. Forgive me as I realize that this is rather OT.

Suriname comes to mind...some of the French Polyinesia (sic), Comoros Island,  1937 series from Canada, the United States greenback NOT!!!!!  ;D

and if you will allow .. the "Salt Spring Island" issues...they should be circulated across Canada..stunning artwork...but then..with Robert Bateman as one of the designers..what would one expect?

Swiss francs are on a par (more or less) with Canadian dollars so you can figure face value, plus shipping.
