I'm surprised nobody pointed out this nice error note that closed on ebay.

When do we ever see 1937 series error notes of any kind?  I was starting to wonder if the Bank of Canada printed everything perfectly up until 1954 because I simply don't remember seeing any error notes from earlier series.  And just for the record, miscut notes with sections of adjoining notes still attached were not errors on earlier series that were cut by hand.

Anyone got some other cool 1937 errors to show us?

This is a note I do like.
I haven't been on ebay for a loooong time, so I definitely didn't see it. Nice find.

Thanks

Yes, it was more than the Charlton catalogue price.

Back to the question posed in the original thread, does anyone else have any 1937 series error notes?  I'm not looking to buy your notes so don't worry about being hounded with offers.

Cheap at twice the price.....If I had not picked the wrong time to nap it would have cost you more....lol :)

Getting back to your question, this is the first and only '37 error of this type that i have ever seen....easily worth $300+ in my opinion  ;)

Thanks for the info.  I would have said exactly the same thing.  I've never seen another 1937 error, and so I thought I would ask other forum members since they are usually ahead of the curve  ;)
