I was just looking threw my Canadian Paper Money Society Note Registry and I'm a Little baffled by page 100 Which is the "Register Of Surviving Low Number Matched Sets Of The Bank Of Canada Issue 1954 Issue (Coyne-Towers)" for those who have the book.

Does anybody know how it's even possible that these sets were put together? or did the BOC have a sale?  ???

If you can help that would be great!

CPMS members could purchase sets from the Bank of Canada. This is no longer done.

The CPMS was established in 1964 and low numbered sets could be requested for purchase from the bank of Canada, so these would be modified series notes.

Series prior to this were given as presentation sets as stated in the charlton catalogue 22nd edition page 344. These sets were presented to bank presidents and high ranking employees.
