1853 $1 note

News: Welcome to the Canadian Paper Money Forum.

I have a $1 note issued by Macdonald & Co, Victoria, Vancouver Island.  It is hand signed and dated Sept 1863 and was handed down to me by my father who was in Canada in about 1911. Does it have any value? It is in moderately good condition for its age.
