It would be very nice if everyone would share their opinions again. I found that this note has something I haven’t come across before and was wondering how it affects the grade and possible value. Besides the obvious problems it also has about ten tiny pieces of paper stuck to the back. I’m guessing it was someone’s attempt to hide holes from being seen from the front but whoever did it must have done it a long time ago because the patches seem to have a lot of ware and soiling too, not that it really madders when it was done anyway.
A few of them look like they might be easy to remove. Would it be foolish to try and remove them because it just might leave a blank spot or expose the holes they’re hiding and possibly make things look worse, any advice?

Is it just a harmless prefix-kix or do I live for that next prefix-fix?

I'm in full agreement, leave thing as they are any attempt to remove them would only make them more noticeable. It's not as if your going to increase the grade or value if you removed them anyway so there's nothing to gain and I'm sure attempts to remove them will only be a minus to the eye appeal. IMHO
