I've never seen this before. Nothing major just seems like the thread is too far over.

Looks like the black bar was printed on top of the security thread (remember, the thread is part of the paper before it gets printed, so there's no way the thread could be on top of the black bar).

I wouldn't think much of it.

I have looked through thousands of 20s and have never seen the security thread covering the barcode (some came close).  I have looked at a lot of barcodes to see if any of them were missing like in the Bird Series 20s.

I would say this note is definitely a keeper.

Lately I’ve been paying close attention to the placement of the shifting windowed threads on the notes that have come my way and I haven’t seen any like yours.
Is the holographic stripe on the other side a little misplaced too?

Is it just a harmless prefix-kix or do I live for that next prefix-fix?

I don't think that the holographic strip on the other side would be misplaced.  That strip is applied after the most of the note is printed.  The embedded strip comes as part of the paper just like the water mark.

The holographic stripe on the other side is not misplaced at all.

The security thread is over more than a half inch from the other note I looked at.

It's the only one I've seen, not a really big deal though.
