Topic: Any damage to the note  (Read 2808 times)

One of my relative got this note last month with the condition that the  "scotch tape attached with the sleeve and the note"  (see images)

Finally, the note was returned due to without much confidence that no damage to the note.

Of course the seller (or sender) not doing a good job or without paying enough attention in packaging when sending out ....

My question is "Will any damage to the note itself when the scotch tape is removed"?

I need member's comment is not to support my relative's decision is correct or not, just a social comment to express your idea.

it would really depend on a few factors such as:

1) Type of scotch tape used
2) If the scotch tape will leave residue
3) How firmly affixed is the tape (ie, you might cause creases etc while trying to remove the tape)


However from what I interpret from your pic, it looks more like the note shifted while in transit and because the plastic holder was just attached to the piece of paper the note shifted under the tape. Seller should have sealed the edges first before taping the holder to the piece of paper.
