I have had no luck finding any notes  5,20,or 50 with the Macklem/Carney in BC

Would there be any eastern members interested in a trade?

I've seen tons of UNC M/C 50s being doled out by ATMs, but have had no luck finding 5s or 20s in Toronto. I'll let you know when I get some more.

Hi idforstac,

Macklem/Carney $50s are around. I have pulled several from HSBC ATMs in Vancouver. Keep looking!

Got several M/C $50 in Victoria today, they are finally here.

Are the non-inserts worth holding on to?

I finally found a Macklem/Carney Journey $20 from circulation; my first one. BIA prefix. They seem to be pretty scarce in BC.

Interesting that MC bills are so rare out west. I remember the first BI- prefixes were reported in Alberta/BC, and I didn't see them for a good long time.

I had been noticing that recently, 1/3 or even up to 1/2 of the circulated paper 20s I was getting were MC notes.

I never did see any BI* prefixes, let alone M/C Journey $20's, out my way until the Polymer notes came here.  I did, however, see a ton of HAF $5's out my way before last Halloween.  Haven't seen any HAG and beyond at all - yet.  I am still seeing J/C $5's as of lately, and the $5 prefix most recently seen in crisp out my way is HAD.  So maybe that might be a good omen of things to come - I may see at least one M/C Journey $5 before the Polymer version comes out.

I found 1 wrinkled M/C $5HAF note after searching 1000 notes in the summer.  I have taken smaller quantities of $5 (like 100 at a time) and have yet to see a M/C note in ON.
