All:

With the end of BA International printing banknotes, I'm wondering which British American Bank Note company note you would get to 'remember' their 140+ year history of printing notes. The note may be either Dominion of Canada or Bank of Canada.

I guess the only 'rule' would be that it has to be affordable by a mere mortal. Guess that means the max is about $1000 for the note.

My 1935 English $10 note is UNC, and my 1935 English $5 is in EF condition, so those notes are eliminated.

Your comments would be appreciated.

John

PS: Can't wait to pick up a couple of polymer $50s!

How about BC-39a Beattie-Coyne $5.00 I/C (modified Change-over) or the R/C (below 88,000) which were both printed by BABN and list around $1000 in the UNC grades?  I've only seen the I/C a couple times in lower grades (not for sale) & have yet to see the BABN R/C.

Great suggestions. I think at the next torex, I'll do a little reconnaissance for your suggestions.

Thanks very much

John
