Hi Members

Not being a huge fan of coins I have to say my knowledge is quite limited. Can anyone tell me what you think of this penny? Is it common? Any demand for such a penny if so, any guess to its value?

I am a bit of an avowed error collector.... A penny like that tends to go from $50-$75 depending on grade and if you get a bit of a bidding war for it...

I would pay around 60+shipping for it myself.

You can go on the website there: http://www.numicanada.com/forum/. Almost everyone collect coins there and a lot of them collect coins with error. They will be able to tell you what you want very precisely. However, it's a french forum.

See my banknotes collection at http://banknotes.davidbelanger.net/.
Find special numbers for your banknotes quickly by using this tool. Useful for the bundles.

The other forum is http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=139... A very active and knowledgeable group of error collectors.

Then that's good that I'm French  ;)

Thanks so far for the help!
