Forget about the foreign maple leaf on the new $20 bill... Apparently, the new polymer $20 note is going to be recalled because it has nude women in the design, according to an insider.

Item 300851588722 on that site where wild claims are par for the course.

I'm not clever enough to make up stuff like this!

Clever enough to find it though  :D

I showed someone the $500 note from BOC in the original series and asked them what they thought if such an image would be part of any new note. They freaked out.

Hey the bill just shows the VIMY and whatever is part of it. I am sure there are people who have complained to the BOC about it.

 ???

Wonder what paper money would say if it could talk?

So much for seeing the remainder of the BI* and BS* prefixes in my region.  :(

But I guess it's for a good reason.

Is there any more detail on this? First I have heard of it.

Has the Bank of Canada said anything about this?

I would imagine this guy is just trying to build some hype, selling a soon to be "rare" note.

Well, if he has that JHS note, I'll certainly buy whatever he's selling.  O:-)

Seriously, though, Canadian notes have been distinctly lacking in nude women for the past 50 years.  I don't see why someone would want to overturn this new endeavor.

Just like the one-of-a-kind $50 scar-face error listed at $10,000.  ::)

Don't you mean 75 years?  -Yes, such a shame... (Don't think we'll ever see those heady designs from those allegorical days of 1935/37) :'(

My gut says people just don't like the sticky/clingy properties of this new polymer currency & are willing to take shots anyway they can.

Hey its the monument and not the banknote design. So whatever you see it is by proxy. It would be nice to see something original from the BOC. ;)
