My opinion is that they are an American company and that they don't use Canadian grading standards.

There are two versions, newer ones with a big black star on the certificate and ones without. Either try to avoid getting ones without stars or be prepared to use your own skills in grading and don't rely on the grade on the certificate.

The difference is change in ownership. There was some 'issues' with the company's grading. Google 'Ahmet Sandikci' if you want to educate yourself
