  Hi all,

For those of you who collect coins, do you also collect certain ones for metal content (along with the numismatic ones)?  Like the pre 1996 Canadian copper pennies and pre 1981 nickel nickels.  And of course let's not forget about those pre 1968 silver coins too  8) .  Just curious if people hold onto them.

  Welcome to the forum!  :)

It sounds like you have quite a collection there.  Too bad we can't get pennies anymore, I found searching through rolls of pennies to be relaxing and enjoyable.  You never knew what you were going to find!  :-\

Welcome to the forum.  I am interested in seeing your coin roll hunting finds.  Please post them at this thread:

Pennies can still be found if you befriend your local bank tellers!  I get them all the time, primarily because they don't want to fill out the paperwork to dispose of them!
