This is a spender, but I don't want to take it to the bank, because I know where it's going to end up!  In the fire pits of the Bank of Canada.....Stain on back....I'm looking for a good home for it!

This one is worth a little more than Face Value. Yes it would be a shame to bring it to the bank because it will get destroyed. This one is in pretty good condition and this particular issue is not as common as the previous 1954 issue.

Just an update, there is NOT a stain on the reverse, just part of the design.

Do you still have the 1000 dollar bill?  As it turns out, I am presently working with a guy in Nunavut who advised me he started to collect bills and was looking for a 1000 dollar bill.  Thank you Ernest

Sorry, the 1988 $1000 has been sold, but I do have circulated and XF 1954's available.
