I am wondering if the Scotiabank has a policy on whether or not they pay cash for any winning Atlantic Lottery ticket between $250.00 and $9,999.95 (inclusive).  Can the winner try to cash it at a teller wicket, or would they have to go to the service desk?  Would the winner receive cash or would they receive a cheque regardless of the amount?  I always thought banks would give cash for prizes and not cheques.

I don't know if the Atlantic Lottery is any different, but with OLG in Ontario, winning tickets of any amount may NOT be redeemed at banks.  They must be redeemed through OLG who then (I believe) issues a cheque, or in the case of small prizes, are cashed directly at OLG retailers.
