Birds $100s

I deposited some Birds $100s at my credit union last week. I asked the teller if the bills were being sent for destruction. She looked at me blankly.

"No," she said, "Nothing wrong with these. They are still in circulation. We'll just give them out again."

I wonder if she has tried to spend one lately - almost nobody accepts them anymore.
