Beware of Specimen Notes from Romania or other eastern-European nations. These are believed to only be photocopies of the notes, not actual notes. These photocopies are often misrepresented as authentic specimen notes. You've been warned.

Furthermore, when engaging in a trade, you are doing so at your own risk, and the moderators and administrators take no responsibility for any trades conducted on this site. Please ensure that you are following various trading guidelines such as using trackable shipping instead of lettermail, money orders or electronic payment instead of cash, and that you know exactly what you are getting, and for what price. Ask for scans or photos. Ask for better ones if poor shots are provided. If you don't like how a deal is going down, back out.

Bottom line is this: Protect yourself, because due to the overall nature of online transactions, especially where there is a certain degree of anonymity, your options for recourse are limited. If you end up getting screwed in a deal, that's unfortunate, but you are entering deals at your own risk, and there's nothing we can do about it.
