Hello,
I have come into posession (via a friend in China) of a Fine to Very Fine Condition Circulation $100 Bill from 1988
It is a Borden with a Clear BPN #61
I have done as much research as I can but am now unable to go further without either help or buying that $100 Money Collectors Book. Not exactly what I had in mind for that $100 lol :-D
The Serial Number on the Bill is BJM1005926
I know it's not a low number or a special pattern of numbers (at least not a pattern i'm aware of) and my searching into the Serial number itself has only led me to figure out the first two Digits of the Prefix.
B = British American Bank Note Limited (Company of Print)
J = $100 Denomination
M = ?
I have not been able to find what M stands for. If anyone has any further information (Including but not limited to it's current market value) I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
