Hi all

I picked up 3 bricks of 5's today HNY 9298000, 9308000 and 9318000 and note ending 175 in all 3 bricks has a slight offset error.

It is a small error but is consistent on all 3 notes from different bricks and is not where you would expect to see it.

The error is the words BANK OF CANADA* BANQUE DU CANADA offset on the reverse.

You would expect to see this on the right side of the reverse in line with the back plate#.

The offset is on the left side at an angle and progresses towards the right over the 3 notes.

I have included pics with various brightness.

My guess is that the sheet or note to the left of these overlapped the 3 notes at an angle.

Any thoughts on this Tom or anyone else?
Happy Trails

I have a $20 with a similar type of error.  I think it is an ink transfer more so than an offset error.  Mine is transfer of the large "20" on the face of the note.

I'm using photobucket and this is how the pics posted. How do I get them to show on the thread?
Thanks
