Anyone know the status of this note? Seems Manifest Auctions was vacuumed into the Stack's corporate pile. Can't find this note anywhere in the Stack's unwieldy web site.

Another A-000001 note from the same sheet (Plate C) was offered in Spink's "Bank Note Circular" magazine, Issue 2, January 1996, where it was illustrated.

It didn't sell.
(Pre sale estimate was US$40,000-60,000)

Sounds like a case of the price isn't right.

I don't know if the holder desperately needed money or something.
