Hello all!

1st time here but i've been collecting different coins and paper money for a long time but nothing that have a superb value and most of the time for a small hobby.

Today I was holding a 20$ note a it just separated in 2 without any effort. Did it happen to some of you?

Regards

If there would have been even the tiniest existing cut or tear in the note, then the tear will spread or propagate very easily with a minimum of effort.

However, if the note is fully intact with no holes or tears, then it should be quite durable and incredibly resistant to tearing.

Bring it back to your bank and get an intact note.

Yes, with a $10. Very similar break. Break was closer to the hologram.
