In cases where I have obtained a counterfeit note from an ATM machine, (same bank twice), I simply notified the bank the next day and they agreed to exchange it for a new one each time.( I almost think they were getting suspicous) You will be required to provide details of the transaction that you received it in. Date, time, teller/machine receipt if kept. Finally you will be asked to provide name, address, phone number. So if you don't want it, you can get your $10.00 dollars. Just make sure whoever agrees to take this note off your hands is aware that the bill is a counterfeit note first.
