yes but the condition and the top right squiggle decreases its value however ive never seen it before so rarity could increse its value to more than $10.

I collect banknotes depicting Tallships. And to a lesser degree, all watercrafts.

Actually, I'd be willing to bet the note is counterfeit.  What is the serial number on it?

May I offer a guess that the serial number starts with WER?

The prefix confirms that it is a counterfeit note.

First of all, it's not an error.  It is a counterfeit note.  I have one that has the same "doubling up" on the left edge, including the same plate number.  Someone just did a crappy job when they copied thei $10.  I'd love to add that to my collection ;)

Sounds like a good option if you charge $10 for it ;)

In cases where I have obtained a counterfeit note from an ATM machine, (same bank twice), I simply notified the bank the next day and they agreed to exchange it for a new one each time.( I almost think they were getting suspicous) You will be required to provide details of the transaction that you received it in. Date, time, teller/machine receipt if kept. Finally you will be asked to provide name, address, phone number. So if you don't want it, you can get your $10.00 dollars. Just make sure whoever agrees to take this note off your hands is aware that the bill is a counterfeit note first.

Hey!  Actually, doing so would be illegal.

Your LEGAL options are:
- Turn the note in to your local police
- Keep it
- Mail it to me so I can use it to help teach others about spotting fakes.

I recommend the last option.  (Seriously!)
