I was wondering if it is common to have a raised number in the serial number of the note?

The attached image shows the final digit 5 as being a little higher than the rest of the numbers.

It does occur
If you look at the polymer issues it seems to be very common to have a digit higher or lower than the rest
no extra value in this case :(
