Hello!

This is my first post to this forum in about a decade (or longer).

I was thumbing through some of my notes that I set aside a long time ago to take a second look at and came across a $10 from 2001 Journey series with the prefix SRE

The note appears authentic.  It has the gold leaves and micro-print is legible, signed Knight Dodge.

Do you think this note is authentic?  Could it be a test note? (wouldn't that be a lucky find!)

I can post an image later today if you wish.

Thank you for your help and comments on finding out what this note is,

Here are some photos.
It's a little tattered but appears authentic.
I can't find it in the latest book.

The note is without a shadow of a doubt counterfeit.  You are advised to turn it in to your local police department promptly.

It is indeed. I remember getting a $10 note with prefix WRE in change, it had the same incorrect font in the serial number as your note.

It's a great counterfeit note, that's for sure.
