I have Denly's of Boston - Small Currency - 6-5/8" x 2-7/8" Mylar-D Holders (packages of 50) @ CAD $27.50 plus shipping/postage.

These 4mm thin Mylar-D holders are composed of an inert plastic compound designed to protect banknotes for long term storage (i.e. decades).
These sleeves are unique and relatively expensive compared with the more common acetate banknote holders.
Mylar-D holders are used by some of the top rare note dealers, collectors and auction houses in the US and Canada including the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institute.

Arthur,

Do you know if they will make custom sizes?   Many years ago I had some of these Mylar holders made in 3-1/8 width which is more suitable for Canadian notes (especially '35 and '37 notes).  IIRC the company was one that you posted about back then (~2006) but sadly I'm not able get them to answer my e-mails anymore.

They do make larger currency holders that are (7-7/8" x 3-1/2").  I don't think they will do custom size orders but I could be mistaken.

See:      http://www.denlys.com/inventory/holders2.asp?category=Bank%20Note%20and%20Check%20Holders

I prefer the 6-5/8" x 2-7/8" for all small size Canadian banknotes and I then put them in a Unitrade medium size 3" x 7" bill holder (C01M) for added protection.

Just received my order from Arthur. Arrive fast and secure.  Arthur even went to the trouble of re-packing efficiently to save me money on shipping.
Fantastic.  Thank you.

I bought two packs of these from Arthur recently. Very pleased! I know where to go when I need more.
