So I'm getting ready to purge a whole bunch of my notes.... (most are very circulated and I think I'd be far better off taking all the notes and having one or two really nice pieces versus hundreds of common notes in common grades)

Anyways... as I'm going through my notes I come to one in particular:

Signatures are Bouey and Rasminsky
Serial # T/G 4849178
Denomination $2

So I look at the catalog to give it a catalog number... only problem... in the catalog is says for that the B-R signatures only did prefixes B/G-K/G

And that T/G prefix would have been for the Lawson-Bouey signatures....

I'm sure there is a simple explanation to this... but I can't figure it out.... If there's anyone out there that can explain this to me I'd appreciate it...

Thank you

Are you sure the prefix isn't F/G or I/G?  Can you please post a scan of the note?

Dang my eyes!... Let this all be a lesson to you young collectors out there.. don't start going through your notes when you're 3-4 cold ones into it!

Prefix was I/G....

I shall now hang my head and do a walk of shame!

Thanks BJWM for clearing this up for me!
