Multi-colour series nine-note specimen set for sale.

Issue dates from 1969 through 1979, from Bank of Canada sale of November 1999.

Typical AU condition as issued and noted in Charles Moore auction catalogue. However, two of the notes are in much better grade.

No folds are present on any note, and typical heavy embossing is evident on all notes.

The 1972 $5, the $10 and the 1969 $20 notes are perforated diagonally twice with the word “SPECIMEN,” and all notes are overprinted in red with the same word, twice on front and once on back

Control number 601 printed on lower back of each note in red.

Grading details:

$1 (1973) — AU; top and bottom edges a bit curled.

$2 (1974) — AU; overall a bit bumpy as if mishandled.

$5 (1972) — AU; overall a bit bumpy as if mishandled.

$5 (1979) — Nice uncirculated, with only a couple flicks.

$10 (1971) — AU; one slightly curly edge.
