It's in excellent condition but circulated a slight bit.

Is it worth much above face value?

The lawson bouey is the more commun signature ,even in unc condition the value is only 1,300
if it is circulated  the value is around 1100$ . Spend it or put it in the bank you gone make more profit

I'd buy it for face value from you, instead of returning it to the bank for destruction...

Thanks, for the reply.  I'm not looking to sell it or even take it back to the bank.
Just holding on to it.

I thought I would hijack this 4 year old thread.  I have a Lawson,Bouey 1,000 dollar bill in circulated condition.  How much a thousand dollar bill gets circulated I don’t really know but this one is nice.   I would be interested in possibly selling it.

Lol, $1000 bills haven't gone up in 4 years. They still sell for the same prices above.
