I like the Solomon Islands' $40 note for its unusual denomination, and the vertical orientation on one side and horizontal on the other. The Swiss 200 franc note is pretty nifty too. And the Australian $50 for its equal prominence of the face and back, it reminds me of a 45rpm record with a double A side and no B side.

Congratulations to Canadian $10 for winning Banknote of the Year for 2018! It is good to see a polymer note win, and I am pleased the winner is not a Swiss note for third year in a row.

Great showing - For sure it has been the most talked about note so far in Canada as far as I can recall in the last 20 years.
