Thought I'd share. Not the best condition but hey, it only cost me a buck!

Wow, many excellent finds. My lowest ever found is 0000127 so I've got a ways to go. :p

I do have a pair of 5s with the same number 0000141 in different prefixes though. Don't have a picture on hand.

Here are a couple of low serial numbers I have. The AOB was received in change from grocery store (and rescued from the shredders) and the ASY is also an error as the lithographic printing is out of register.

Great finds! Love low SN (& any special #) found in the "wild," esp below 10 on the early AOB issue.

-not clear about the "error" as the note looks normal to me.

Could you describe it perhaps?

Hard to tell because the image is cropped too closely but design looks like it's shifted to the left.  JohnnyG5, can you try leaving some space around the note when you crop it?

Here's the front of the note. As you can see, the intaglio printing is where it's supposed to be, the lithographic printing is shifted to the left - the Queen has a blank area to the right of her.

-Yes, it's quite dramatic on the front. Thanks for clarifying. Super cool (rare) find!

I wonder how that slipped through QA? And there has to be at least a two sheets of them - Since it's BABN, the sheet format is 5 x 8 (if memory serves) so there's the first 40 and then the next forty were 46 would be. So that note would be top row, second from the left. Does that make sense?
