Hello,

I have recently purchased this note on a online auction. In my opinion I got a good deal.

Let me know your evaluation of this note and I will reveal what I paid by Tuesday next week.

Thank you,

AL-Bob

I would say between $200 and $240.

Friedsquid is probably closer to the truth.  I only collect low serials < 10 so my guess was more of an extrapolation than factually based.  I figured #18 might be interesting to some folks if they had some good memories from when they were that age or something!

Hello Everyone,

Here is what I paid in the end.

Hammer price $51 + 20% commission ($10.20) + $20 shipping + $4.06 taxes Total: $85.26

So I think I did ok, referencing your feed back and book value. I initially thought I did better, but the shipping killed that thought.

Thanks again.

Sounds like an auction that went wrong (for the seller) and was in your favor.  Most low serials (11 to 99) have been selling the last few years for 150 to 250 dollars (depending on grade and grader).
