20-18 should read $20 1898 but it seem like the row for 20-12 was copied instead.

You are quite right - thanks for reporting it.
Lots of copy and paste shortcuts were taken when the book had to be essentially rebuilt in newer software, and some shortcuts of course weren't correct.
A great many were caught during proofing but several escaped detection.
Probably the most serious are:
Barclays Bank 1929 issue, page 8, grade headings should be VG to UNC, not G to AU
Bank of Western Canada, page 536, ditto.

Collecting Canadian since 1955

220-22-04S $50 1925 Specimen should be 220-22-06S (or -08S) to concord with the numbering of the issued notes.  The example I have handled has the typed Nanton signature so it would be 06S.

Issue of 1933

Signatures:

left
engr. A. E. Phipps

right
typed F. A. Rolph

However, I believe both signatures are typed and not engraved.  At least the examples I could find had clearly different positions of the signatures from one note to the other.

Circulating notes

There are a few inconsistencies:

22-06-08 $10 1861 town o/p or numerals only
^^^ This catalogue # should correspond to "$5 no o/p or numerals only" to be consistent with the other notes in the series.  Perhaps it should be deleted since there are "No known notes" anyway (there is no corresponding entry for the $2 or $4 denominations so I'm not sure why this one is in there or what it is meant to correspond to).

22-06-10 $10 1861 town o/p
^^^ The catalogue # should be changed be changed to 22-06-10a.

Add a new entry "22-06-10 $10 1861 no o/p or numerals only" for the following note:
