Hello all.   :)

I have started to dabble with CTCs and have a question for the more knowledgable out there.

I have a $2 coupon, copyright 1992, serial #0004873227, with what appears to be the signatures of KRISHNER / BACHAND.

The information that I have is causing confusion for me.  Series 16 notes from 1992 are signed Krishner / Macaulay.  Series 22 matches my signature series, but the printing date is 1996.

I'm thinking my coupons are Series 22, but the date difference is making me unsure.

Can anyone clarify this for me?

Thanks in advance!

To answer your question.

Series 16 issued 1992 is signed Krishner/Macaulay.

Then series 16 stopped at series 19, this was the 75th anniversary edition.  This $2 note is signed Krishner/Bachand and was released in 1997.

The next time the $2 coupon was issued it is signed Krishner/Bachand.
This is a series 21 coupon.
It was printed in 1996 and released in 1998.

After this came series 22, had a date of 1992, printed in 1996.

Your coupon(s) are series 22.

Note: I forgot about series 21 in my original post.

Hope this answered your question.  Stinger.

To answer your question.

Series 16 issued 1992 is signed Krishner/Macaulay.

Then series 16 stopped at series 19, this was the 75th anniversary edition.  This $2 note is signed Krishner/Banchand and was released in 1997.

The next time the $2 coupon was issued it is signed Krishner/Banchand.
This is a series 22 coupon.
It was printed in 1996 but not issued until 1998.
The serial number for this series continues where series 16 stopped.

Your coupon(s) are series 22.

Hope this answered your question.  Stinger.
but aren't all notes from and after the 75th anniversary dated 1996 and later? Because i believe this is also the case for the $2 Krishner-Banchand signature.  But kelly b. stated that his was "printed 1992" Is that normal? Because like i said, i thought that these were "printed 1996"

Kelly b.'s $2 coupon may have a 1992 date on it, but it is definitely series 22. This note was printed in 1996 issued in 1998.  Maybe the CBNC wanted to use up some old sheets. Stinger.
