June 20th finds:
The right place at the right time…
I went to one of my “dump banks” to drop off all of the rolls of coins I just searched. While I was waiting in line, I noticed an older lady holding some RCM boxes.
I asked her what they were and she said that they were silver coins that she bought in 2014 that she was going to cash in for face value.
I asked her if she was willing to sell them to me rather than wait in line and she agreed. Her husband had some “$20 for $20” silver coins that he also intended to cash in.
I immediately went to the bank machine and took out money to buy the coins.
Time will tell if this was a wise decision…
