Was entering some notes on the SNDB and noticed this writing on the $10 Bill. I wonder what the writing perhaps mean as I can’t read it due to the light ink but my best guess is that it says J Lm Ap You?

Hi there,

Being red/green colour blind, to me, it states,

"John
Are you"

This is my take, it could be a conversation between a wife and a husband or one partner to another partner.

My thoughts, Whitenite

December 14th:

These notes from my pickups caught my eye.

One $1 has 6-49 written on it.  It was meant to be spent on a lottery ticket!

The second $1 has the name “Dan Diver” written in pink on the back margin.

This US $2 has “KC 12141231 res 1 102” written on the back margin.

Enjoy!

October 31st dind:

I bought this ratty old $1 for face value for the stamp on it.  I think it says Aug 17 1964, but I could be wrong.

What do you think?

Actually it says "Gold Electronic" and there is a company with that name established in 1998 so perhaps their first dollar was a 1973 $1 note?

January 7th finds:

This 1975 $50 note was found in Eastern Ontario.

On MacKenzie’s collar are the initials “MAK” perhaps standing for his name?

This birds $2 from the UK hoard has the date 30/11/92 and the name “Tim Wood” written on it.  The note also has a blob of old sticky tack on it and this probably indicates that it was in some sort of frame for awhile.

These two 1973 &1s from the UK hoard are interesting.  One is a “Lucky Dollar” with the date 25/12/83– Christmas Day.

The other $1 has 45p written on it:  Maybe this was the equivalent value of the Canadian dollar in British Pounds back at that time?  🤣

These other four $1 notes from the UK hoard look like they have been baked to a crisp by the sun.  I suspect that these notes might have been display pieces in a pub or other business for a very long time.

Enjoy!
