Well years latter I've found one in the wild! I'll add to the registry now as well. I do believe the grade to be EF, I will have it graded at some point.

My thoughts exactly!  :D Great looking note.
It took me 4-5 years of constant searching & mine has writing on it & a Fine at best. Yours is so much nicer.  :'(

Congrats @Archey80!

Congratulations on your find from the wild.  I have been looking for the BSW prefix for at least 10 years and best I can get in the Ottawa Valley at this time are BSU and BSV banknotes.  The BSV banknote always makes me to take a harder look as the brain wants to see a W but it is a V.

I will keep on hunting in the wild as the hunting season for this prefix is not over yet!

Thanks for the image.

Best regards, Whitenite

Had my BSW note above graded, possibly the highest grade known?

-I laughed after I read your comment @whitenite b/c that was exactly my experience (how I felt every time I came across the BSV & BSU prefixes. Of course the low # BSV was the worst! The long search was unbearable at times. Although my example is an ugly duckling compared to the OP, I am just glad/satisfied I finally got one.

-Congrats on the lofty grade @Archey80!
(BTW: don't forget that BWJM, former admin here, found a few BSW's in the early days & he might have a good example).

Congrats Archie! Just having a BSW is a major milestone. Finding one in the wild for face value and having it grade so highly by the conservative BCS (my personal favourite) is just the icing on the cake, with a cherry on top!

Excellent find. I find myself still shocked I was also able to find one in the wild back in 2019.

Hi Archie, Congrats on your "wild" find and grading!!!!  :D  Didn't you post another awhile back?  How many BSWs do you have now? Cheers, B
