To my surprise, when I added a note to the SNDB a "notice" was displayed telling me it is a "Replacement Note". I did not know that the system checked serial numbers against RN data.  This is a great feature.

I deal mainly with 50's and have noticed the replacement note information for this note ends at GHC while notes as far along series as GMW have started to appear in circulation.  Three questions:

Am I correct to assume I will only get a *notice* of a replacement note from the database entry system as far as GHC and no further?

How does one check if anything after GHC is a replacement note?

How much lag time exists between prefix issuance and replacement note information being released/updated?

Most, if not all, replacement note ranges should be loaded into the SNDB by now.  The printing company has not used replacement noted for several years now.  Thus, it's as up-to-date as it ever will be.
