Wanted: Modern Replacement Notes

Hello CPMF,

I am looking for a few modern replacement notes ($10 and $20’s) in the Journey Series and  Frontier Series.

Dealers seem reluctant to haul modern replacements out to shows in favour of displaying their big ticket notes. They rarely get into major Canadian auctions. I know these notes are out there however I must be looking in the wrong places.

I certainly miss our old reliable source of Gilles Pomerleau – both his lists as well as the insight he provided in our conversations.  Gilles is hard to replace.

$10 BC-68bA   Jenkins-Carney replacement BABN 2009   prefix BFH or BFJ
$20 BC-64bA   Jenkins-Carney replacement CBN 2009   prefix EUJ or EUW  found
$20 BC-64bA-i   Jenkins-Carney replacement BABN 2010   prefix AUB
$20 BC-64cA   Macklem-Carney replacement BABN 2011   prefix AUT  found

Frontier Series
$20 BC-71bA   Wilkins-Poloz replacement   prefix FWD or FWF

-This may prove to be a tough one. I asked CPMF members for any 2010 AUB in EF or better & nobody wanted to sell one 10 years ago.  90% of AUB issued were supposed to come from 2009, but with 69 2010 AUB's reported I don't think the full 900K were released.  I started searching for the replacement as well since I got the impression that there were more replacements saved than non-replacements.  Good luck!

Thank you “gus5pin” for offering to help.  Your Journey $10 notes are really nice grades, however I am searching for replacements printed in 2009.  Your sheet replacement notes were all printed in 2008 - a year too early for me!

I am looking for $10 BC-68bA Jenkins-Carney replacements printed in 2009 which are limited to a pair of SNR’s:
BFH 6.385 – 6.386
BFJ 5.792 – 5.793

The Journey $20’s that I am looking for are also printed near the end of the series in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

They may be hard to find as a previous post mentioned.  I guess that is part of the fun/challenge in our hobby.
