I came home from work and saw that my Photoshop 2023 icon had been replaced by a question mark. No big deal, that means a new version was downloaded & installed. Open it up, go to scan a couple of banknotes that just arrived in the mail, only to get an error message telling me that counterfeiting banknotes is illegal (golly, didn't know that) and thus scanning them is disabled. Promptly uninstalled PS 2024 (version 25.0) and reinstalled PS 2023 (version 24.7). Thankfully, downloading previous versions is still an option on the Adobe Creative Cloud. I'm back in business, scanning notes in my collection and not for counterfeiting. But I suppose I'll never be able to upgrade from PS 2023.
