I remember in December 2023 when I bought food for my family at a place I got back a single King Charles quarter in my change. I am wondering where did you get your first Charles in your change and which day was it?

For me, haven't seen any to date.  Given the drop in demand for all coin denominations (and cash in general), plus the vast number of bank branches closing down as of lately, it's looking probable that the Queen will be distributed for quite a while longer.  I'd be lucky to see the new $20 bill with King Charles' portrait before I see any coins with his likeness on them.

Scotiabank was scheduled to close down eight branches in my province's rural locations this year, and I wouldn't be surprised if additional branches will close down next year.  The branch I rely on had downsized its in-person teller hours last December, wrapping up at 2 PM four days a week, and 3 PM on Fridays.  Not to mention that the ATM hours have shrunk a little - a year ago, they were 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., but a few months ago it was reduced further to 8:30 a.m. (8:00 on weekends) to 10:00 p.m. - for safety reasons.  I can see my current branch being a casualty in the foreseeable future.

I've had 2 or 3 so far, all in the last 2 months.
