I keep seeing “prop money” that looks way too real for sale on eBay. Single $50 or $100 polymer notes selling for 3$-6$ each + shipping. At that price the only purpose for buying would be to defraud someone in the future would be my guess.

Totally agree Archey80.  I see ads for "Replicas" all over the net for any country in the world as though putting the word "Replica" in the ad makes them not good enough to pass off as real.  What I find interesting is the denomination of the fakes in this report -- going as low as $10 notes?? that no one suspects of being of high enough value to be as profitable to include in a counterfeit scam. Like the fake toonie. Now I'm wondering if the $10 notes seized were vertical Desmonds or the old MacDonalds as the security strip is different for vertical as opposed to the horizontals.  Have often thought that if they can't be stopped for counterfeiting, perhaps they could be as the result of copyright/trademark infringement? LOL  Like getting Al Cappone for tax evasion instead of bootlegging.  It is not possible to post ads for certain brands on FB marketplace as the algorithm will delete the ad, and suspend your account for this reason .... like Gucci, Versace, St. Laurent, etc. Don't know why Ebay cant do the same.

Cheers, B
