Union Bank of Newfoundland 1889 $50

One of my favorite bank notes of all time.  I just love the Newfoundland dog guarding the safe on the back.  This note is the pinnacle and the rarest of the popular 1889 series of notes.

Here is the BABN vignette mounted on card with a title "On Guard".  The dog appears to be doing a good job, however leaving a key on the floor nearby may undermine his efforts :).

It must be a trap.  He looks cute too but I would like to see what happens to you when you reach for that key.
