Hi, this one is a question that is just burning me.
I took some $10s out of the bank - and yes I know that you basically cannot confirm anything wehn you do it like that.  BUT, the BEV notes were spitting out, and I took 20 of them, and they came out like this:

BEV0093091
BEV0093090
BEV0093089 - ABSENT
BEV0093088
BEV0093087 - ABSENT
BEV0093086
BEV0093085 - ABSENT
BEV0093084
BEV0093083
BEV0093082
BEV0093081
BEV0093080
BEV0093079
BEV0093078 - ABSENT
BEV0093077
BEV0093076 - ABSENT
BEV0093075 - ABSENT
BEV0093074
BEV0093073 - ABSENT
BEV0093072
BEV0093071
BEV0093070
BEV0093069
BEV0093068 - ABSENT
BEV0093067
BEV0093066
BEV0093065 - ABSENT
BEV0093064
BEV0093063

This is WAY out of ordinary than regular out of place notes from bank personell intervention.

Any thoughts or comments please?!

Thanks,
Hudson

I have seen something like before in a BEU bundle, inserts were put at the begining of the bundle by printer, why I don't know...

Similar to the CBN bricks?  That would be great actually... make it alot easier to find the inserts then...
Do you think that is the case? It probably saves time I would say...

But of course, this would make BABN inserts more common in UNC, and therefore may decrease the value of the BABAN inserts you already own........

Hudson, I have a idea why this may have happened.

When a bank machine detects something wrong with the notes, it is automatically sent to the reject/purge bin. Therefore, the machine you used may have had a problem with the mechanism, as it is rare so many notes would be rejected.

About decreasing the value of BABN notes... the ones from the old journey $10s will not be affected price wise if the case was that the New journey $10s were places the same as CBN inserts, but yes I can see that it may increase supply of the BABN inserts.
But, as you will see from this post of my withdrawal, I would deduce that they still are not using CBN positioning, AND that I would like to assert that they are not ALWAYS sending bricks starting from  000.
When the machine gets loaded at work, they get placed ALL out of order, but NEVER never before have I seen a transition from the endpoint of one brick to the next one in the machine.  Could be a coincidence, but see the numbers below:

BEV0094024
BEV0094023
BEV0094022 - MISSING
BEV0094021 through BEV0094002
BEV0094001 - MISSING
BEV0094000... Then flipped to new section:
BEV0093999
BEV0093998
BEV0093997
BEV0093996 - MISSING
BEV0093995 - MISSING
BEV0093994 through BEV0093981... and that as much as I could take out at the time.

I can ask at work to see if it has been pulling them out, but it seems just too fishy. We use New notes ALL the time in the machines and I have Never seen this before.  PLUS, the trasistion between brick typical sections is very odd- which is why I put forward the possibility that they are sending bricks not as clean 000 to 999 as they were before.

Sudzee, Im lookin towards you if you have any input! ;)

BEV1031003 to
BEV1030899.  Following notes were absent: 984, 960, 936, 918, 909.  No explaination for this as of yet.

I just picked up 1 brand new BEY mixed brick today consisting of 2359xxx,2372xxx,2385xxx,2398xxx,2411xxx bundles. These bundles are missing alot of notes.
The brick started like this.
BEY2372863
61-59,57-51,49-43,38-35,27-22, etc.
Next bundle BEY2398536-500 then jumping to BEY2385999-92,90-88,85,84,82-77,75-69,67,66,63,62,60,etc.
None of the bundles started normal.
All the bundles are like this if not much worse, and not a single insert to be found.
I figure at least 120 notes are missing, probably much more. Some sections were missing over 40 straight.
Did get 3 radars though.  :-?

Maybe BABN has changed their ways.

I have heard that FAR FEWER inserts are being found in the bricks as of recent.
Perhaps they may even be simpliy not replacing them in some cases?  At any rate, the Journey inserts are becoming harder and harder to find.
Perhaps there are other reasons?
