"Another Poem about Journey Notes"
by Jonathan, "Committed Member" of the forum

Out with the old, and in with the new
The new Journey 100 will be there for you
In 2004
There will be more
When the new replaces the old, too

We hope the new $100 will come someday
And restore our faith in C-notes as they may
And say, hey-hey
I really should say
That the forgers should learn that "crime doesn't pay!"

The new 100 has a holographic stripe
And a ghostly image of Borden you can't wipe
And a see-through number
That can buy some lumber
Which nobody can forge, or else I say "Yipe!"

The chocolate brown bill that everyone wants
Has a black serial number with different fonts
Like the five, like the ten
I'll say it again
It will be like no other, you'll definitely want.

The new twenty and fifty will come real soon
Sooner than you can pop a balloon
The clock is ticking
So don't be sicking
That we hope to see either by June!  (I hope!)   :D
